| We put great emphasis on agreeing the parameters of the coaching relationship, particularly the overall purpose of the sessions, which will be tailored to the individual and can range from providing a confidential sounding-board, through to honing relational skills, through to supporting the development of key competencies.
Whilst the overall parameters for the sessions are established as a three-way agreement between the individual, their sponsor in the organisation and the coach, the coaching sessions themselves are treated as a confidential interaction between coach and coachee. This enables us to create a safe but challenging environment where the individual can work at a deep level to enhance personal effectiveness and contribution.
A coaching relationship may last for anything between three months to a year, depending on the individual's learning agenda and the long-term goals of the organisation. Interactions usually take the form of one-to-one sessions but we can also provide telephone and/or webcam support. Progress is constantly reviewed against specific agreed outcomes.
We also work with CFM Ltd, to provide in-house and open programmes for individuals and organisations wishing to develop their own coaching capabilities. CFM Ltd is one of the leading providers of training and development in coaching skills and provide a range of programmes which are certificated and/or accredited by Strathclyde University.
